Meet the Publisher

Melissa Levine

Publisher, Uniquely You Miami-Dade

With over 30 years of experience as an Occupational Therapist, I have dedicated my career to supporting children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and other developmental disabilities. I earned my degree from Boston University in 1994 and have since worked across a wide range of settings, including schools, private clinics, and home-based environments.

On a personal level, I am the proud parent of my son, Jack, who is on the autism spectrum, and my daughter, Elexis, who is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). They have been my greatest inspiration and the driving force behind my decision to join the Uniquely You team. Through this work, I strive to help build a connected, supportive community across Miami-Dade—one that celebrates individuals with disabilites through their unique stories and fosters a sense of belonging, understanding, and shared growth.

As both a Certified Autism Spectrum Disorder Clinical Specialist and a parent, I have a unique understanding of how valuable time is for families navigating these journeys. I am so excited to bring our Miami-Dade community this amazing publication, designed to provide key resources, meaningful connections, and support—helping families save time while feeling informed, empowered, and truly seen.
